Wish me luck & enjoy[; Joes POV. “So, Demi, I went over your tests and I dont like what I see,” the doctor began. Demi grabbed my hand on my lap and I squeezed it. We were in the doctor’s office, listening to what the doctor had to tell us about the results to Demi’s tests. Demi has been in the hospital for about a week, like what the doctors recommended to her. They tested her, and took blood, trying to figure out what was wrong. Lately, she hasn’t been feeling well. She was always down, and she had headaches she couldn’t explain. Her body ached at night, and she’d always end up sweating in the morning under the sheets. So, I suggested we come here. Demi and I were engaged, the wedding planning was still going on, and we already had a 4 year old daughter of our own named Marissa Marie. Sometimes I’d just call her Marie, I love that name, its my moms middle name. “What are you talking about?” asked a confused Demi. She looked over at me, and I shrugged, and squeezed her hand tighter in mine. “Demi, I don’t hide anything from my patients, and-” the doctor said before getting interrupted by Demi. “Just tell me! Whats wrong?” Demi exclaimed, a tear already streaming from her eye. “Demetria, your blood results dont look very good. You have cancer,” the doctor looked sorry. And thats how it all started. After that day in the office, Demi was admitted into the hospital again. She …
