Simon Agius is the CEO of Thisisnatural.com and the wedding portrayed traditional culture & nature, blended with Traditional wedding vows & a Custom Marriage performed by Chief Telkon of Bunlap South Pentecost, Chief of the Land Diving Nangol ceremony. Simon Agius grew up in Vanuatu and Lina Ariki is a Ni-Vanuatu who’s father is a Great Chief of the Solomon Islands Tikopia and mum from Malekula, Vanuatu. Simon’s father Robert Agius is a long time Citizen of Vanuatu. Simon and his parents Rob and Pauline first moved to Vanuatu in 1979. Whilst there was some discussions about the Wedding being in Australia the couple decided to make the occasion in Vanuatu where many friends and family had not yet visited. The Natural wedding is a testament to Simon & Lina’s love for the natural world and respect in Custom and Culture of the Pacific Islands, blending traditional cultures of Vanuatu, Solomon Islands and Simon’s European and Australian heritage.
